The KH 150 is a powerful reference-class two-way studio monitor with a 6.5' woofer and a bass-reflex cabinet providing high sound pressure (SPL) in both bass and treble with clear, readable sound. The built-in DSP processor ensures a linear phase response as well as the ability to calibrate with an MA measurement microphone 1.The KH 150 follow the same philosophy as the other studio monitors of the KH series - the highest possible linearity, the lowest distortion, zero sound coloration and perfect adaptation to any acoustic environment. It allows you to hear every detail of the recording, and mixing becomes faster, easier and more creative, because with the KH 150 you can immediately distinguish a clean vocal from a sibilant one, and you can immediately hear if there is too much bass in the recording.Unlike its smaller siblings KH 80 DSP and KH 120A, the KH 150 has significantly deeper bass, starting at 39 Hz, which is almost the same value as the three-band KH 310. The KH 150 is therefore an ideal monitor for urban music, EDM or film projections. Thanks to powerful amplifiers (145 W/100 W) and a sophisticated limiter, it does not lose sound clarity even at high SPL values.Like other KH monitors, the KH 150 also has a precise MMDTM (Mathematically Modeled Dispersion) sound channel, guaranteeing a wide sweet spot and minimizing reflections from the mixing desk. In addition, the built-in DSP processor works directly with the Automatic Monitor Alignment calibration system, which sets all corrections exactly according to the listening room via the MA 1 measuring microphone (separate accessory). The KH 150 monitor is produced in black and white, the KH 150 AES version is equipped with an AES67 interface for connecting to data networks using ST 2110/2022-7 standards, such as Ravenna or Dante®.
