It achieves smooth resistance and airflow that only a reverse tuning slide design can offer, for easy, comfortable playability and harmonically rich tone. The heavier mouthpiece receiver adds body to the tonal core, and helps hold the sound together at large dynamics. This model has a ring on the 1st valve slide, and no water key on the third valve slide, as preferred by its development artist. It also features a single main tuning slide brace and a finger ring design that result in an ideal balance between great playability and wide range of tonal expression.
