The minimal contact face on the back allows air to circulate freely through a horizontal and vertical air duct. With the side hip fins the backpack is tightly fixed to the body, providing a balanced load distribution. PROOF FABRICS The outer fabrics of our Proof products are waterproof and have a water column of 13,000 mm. In the manufacturing process, they are elaborately treated on both sides with a water-based coating. However, in case of very strong water influence, moisture can penetrate through seams and zips, which is why we do not call these products waterproof, but water-repellent. PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) is a large group of chemicals that do not occur naturally and therefore take a long time to dissolve or are not biodegradable at all. Due to their waterproofing properties these harmful chemicals are often used in the textile industry, especially for outdoors products and enter our system via air and water.
