2019 Yamaha marked the 50th Anniversary of the Pro Audio division by offering a special limited-edition model: the “HS MP models”. Maintaining the same rigorous design principles that have guided the Yamaha design legacy, the HS MP ships in a paired carton adorned with a “MP” (Matched Pair) sticker, including speakers with matching serial numbers and a special production process utilizing specially selected parts. It is equipped with 5” cone woofer and 1” dome tweeter, large magnets in an Advanced Magnetic Circuit design and built-in bi-amp system (45 W LF plus 25 W HF) for high-performance 70 W power amplification. Monitor features MDF cabinet, room-control and high-trim response controls, XLR and TRS phone jack inputs for balanced or unbalanced signals, and a specially designed mounting ring that eliminates unwanted frequencies vibration and resonance.
