The Sire V5 boasts a North American Alder body that delivers tight, neutral sound with higher mid-band projection, serving as the perfect tonal base for sharp pickups. The large cutout on the back of the body allows the instrument to rest comfortably on you while standing or sitting, making the V5 a practical stage or studio instrument. Many top instruments are equipped with burnt maple necks, but Sire has managed to fit this component into the affordable V5 model, which provides not only a truly premium look but also incredible tuning stability. The C-shaped neck profile gives bassists a comfortable feel, while the rolled edges of the fingerboard improve playability and ensure an extremely smooth playing experience. Two simple 'Marcus Vintage-J Revolution' pickups give the V5 a distinctive sound character. These highly versatile sensors, sharp and articular, are suitable for all gaming styles - especially for finger and tidal techniques. Beautifully crafted bridge 'Vintage-S', increases the resonance of the note and brings a pleasant feeling and piano sustain.
