Active humbucker pickup for bridge position of 8-string guitar that is an incredible articulate and aggressive and provides high output – created by today’s guitar players, for today’s guitar players. It combines a large ceramic magnet with custom winding specs, which results in a perfect blend of note articulation, saturation, pick attack, and one of the most brutal chugs you will ever hear from a humbucker. It has incredible harmonic content across all frequency ranges, and an insanely tight bass response. The pickup has a seriously aggressive high gain sound that is lively, yet completely controllable. On clean amp settings, it still knows how to behave and provides those bell-like clean tones. It can be pair with the Seymour Duncan’s Sentient neck pickup for the ultimate progressive metal sound and versatility. Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the pickup uses a large ceramic bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
