The unique, reimagined Advanced Access cutaway offering some of the best and most uninhibited upper fret access on any Ibanez Acoustic. Blending the Contact pickup with the Magnetic pickup provides more natural acoustic tone. This pickup combination enhances the depth of the sound and the tonal brightness. The guitar also features on-board treble and bass controls for contouring the tone of Magnetic pickup, making it suitable for a variety of applications for modern players. The newly designed headstock shape is the result of thorough research and investigation. The AP11 pickup is small, lightweight and positioned so it won't inhibit the natural vibrations of the top wood.
