Sigma BC 14.0 STS CAD Wireless Cycling electronics - product description

Climb high! The BC 14.0 WL’s integrated barometric altitude measurement and monthly statistics help you keep a close eye on your performance on hills and in valleys. In all, the bike computer features more than 14 functions. Hill riders get their money’s worth: The BC 14.0 WL is a perfect companion – especially on steep hills. This SIGMA ORIGINAL displays your current altitude and incline. After a ride, the wireless bike computer gives you an overview of the meters you climbed on that day’s ride and the maximum altitude you reached. It also saves the total altitude you have climbed on all your rides. In the wireless (WL) version, the digitally coded STS radio protocol moves your data from the speed transmitter to your bike computer. This protects data perfectly while it transmits to the BC 14.0 WL, eliminating external interference. If you regularly ride different bikes, it’s easy to use the BC 14.0 WL on your second bike. After you set your SIGMA ORIGINAL up once, it automatically recognizes which bike you are using. You can set up the BC 14.0 WL easily thanks to the predefined tire sizes, which range from a small child’s bike to a 29'' bike. You can also enter the tire circumference exactly to the millimeter. The BC 14.0 WL’s slim design and angular shape cuts a nice figure on a sporty bike. At 31 x 41 mm, the display is larger than its predecessor. That provides room for large numbers that are very easy to read during a ride. The current speed is displayed continuously, and you can select whatever second value you want. When it gets dark, you can switch on the backlight. You can mount the BC 14.0 WL’s bracket on the handlebars or stem. You can attach the speed sensor easily. The computer receives all the necessary data wirelessly. You can remove the bike computer any time and stow it conveniently – and just as quickly get it ready for your next hilly adventure! A button battery (CR 2450) supplies your BC 14.0 WL on all your tours for more than two years without being changed. During battery replacement, an integrated chip stores all the values and settings. The BC 14.0 WL is waterproof, so it will remain a reliable companion, no matter what weather you are out in. CADENCE SENSOR Do you want to measure your cadence? No problem – just pair the BC 14.0 WL with a cadence sensor, which is included in the BC 14.0 WL CAD package and also available separately as an accessory.
