The Vintage channel has a clean and crunch mode based on the classic rock and blues sounds of the 60s. The Hot Rod channel represents the gain sounds of the 'hot rod' 80s, both modes have plenty of gain, but mode 2 has more and is suitable for lead sounds.There are two master volume controls, one for each channel, which can be toggled with your foot. A master volume assignment switch on the back allows the volume controls to be switched to be set globally for all channels or to their original vintage/hot rod channel.Presence SwitchLocated on the front panel, this switch changes the brightness of the presence control. Position two will sound slightly brighter as it reduces negative feedback in the higher frequencies.Depth FocusThis is much more than a bass equalizer. It works in the power section of the amp and offers either a tighter, more focused bottom end or, conversely, a looser and more resonant one, depending on your needs and tastes. The Sheriff 100 adds further flexibility with a rotary control on the rear panel.Serial effects loopFor effects fans, a serial effects loop is available.
